ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE PROTECTION


Enjoy your event with extra peace of mind. For just $12.95 per hire, add Accidental Damage Protection and protect yourself against unexpected costs if something goes wrong during your hire.


We understand accidents happen. From accidental spills and stubborn stains to unexpected tears or other damage, our protection is designed to help cover the cost of accidental damage to your hired garment.


What's covered?

If your hired garment is accidentally damaged during your hire period and requires professional cleaning, repair or replacement, you could otherwise be responsible for fees of up to 120% of the item's original retail price (RRP).


With Accidental Damage Protection, eligible accidental damage is covered up to $500 per order, helping protect you from unexpected expenses.


Minor wear and tear that does not affect the garment's condition or future hireability will generally not incur additional charges.


If an item is damaged beyond repair and the replacement cost exceeds the $500 protection limit, you will remain responsible for any amount above that limit.


Important: Scope of Protection

Accidental Damage Protection applies exclusively to eligible accidental damage to the hired clothing garment included in your order. It does not provide personal insurance, public liability insurance or third-party liability coverage. This means it does not cover personal injury to other people, damage to another person's property, or any claims, costs or expenses arising from incidents involving third parties.


What's not covered?

Accidental Damage Protection does not cover:

  • Lost, stolen or missing items.
  • Parcels lost in return transit, unless there is evidence the parcel was lodged or scanned by the postal carrier.
  • Non-clothing items, including handbags, shoes, headwear, belts, jewellery and other accessories.
  • Intentional damage or damage resulting from reckless behaviour or gross negligence.
